Sati Exports - Logistics Head - Supply Chain (4-11 yrs)
- We are looking for a professional with proven experience and performance to lead logistics and supply chain operations.
- This person will be leading and managing the logistics team and the management of shipments from all sectors across India. This person will be heading the logistics department and process.
Responsibilities :
- Manage end to end order fulfillment, shipment and ensuring achievement of monthly shipment targets
- Manage and co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure fulfillment of products and ensure products are as per sales order specifications
- Co-ordinate with freight forwarders, clearing handling agents, transporters, etc to ensure smooth flow of shipments
- Take ownership for all documents required for purchases, sales, transport, export and other statutory documents that are needed in the shipment or the export process
- Maintenance of order shipment plans for monthly shipment forecasting and
- Building supplier relationships and onboard new suppliers to grow supply capacity as and where required
- Co-ordinate with sales, and accounts team for smooth interdepartmental communication and process
- Organise training / skill development activities for your department
Work Experience and Skills :
- 5+ years of experience working in supply chain/logistics or similar profile
- Knowledge of export logistics process
- Understanding of logistics software, ERP or transport management systems
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Excellent people skills and the ability to lead a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skill is a must
