Please Note that :

- A candidate may apply for one post from Sr. No. 1 to 4 and more than 1 post from Sr. No. 5 to 32 under this project.

Educational Qualification as on 01.09.2016 :

Engineering Graduate in Civil from Government recognized University/ Institute.

Relevant full-time post qualifications experience & Skill Set as on 01.09.2016 (Excluding Training & Teaching experience) :

- Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering work.

NOTE :

- Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the 'creamy layer' are not entitled to OBC reservation and age relaxation. They should indicate their category as 'GENERAL' or GENERAL (OH/VI) as applicable.

- Maximum age indicated is for General category candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit (for reserved vacancies) will be available as detailed under Para 1 point No. 'a' below.

- The number of vacancies including reserved vacancies mentioned above are provisional and vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.

-Candidates belonging to reserved category including Persons with Disabilities for whom no reservation has been mentioned are free to apply for vacancies announced for unreserved category and they must fulfil all the eligibility conditions applicable to unreserved category.

- Reservation for PWD is horizontal and within the overall vacancies for the post.

Eligibility criteria :

- Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria stipulated above as on 01-09.2016

Relaxation of Upper age limit :

NOTE : Cumulative age relaxation will not be available either under the above Items or in combination with any other items.

Reservation for persons with disability(pwd) :

- Vacancies are reserved for Disabled (Physically Challenged) Persons under Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of 1996) as per government guidelines. Candidates with following disabilities are eligible to apply as per the definitions given in the above act: a) Orthopedically Handicapped, b) Visually Impaired, c) Hearing Impaired.

- A person (OH/VI/HI) who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability and wants to avail the benefit of reservation will have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by the Medical Board duly constituted by Central or State Government. The certificate should be dated on or before last date of registration of application.

Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) :

- Only those OH candidates who have locomotor disability or cerebral palsy with locomotor impairment of minimum 40% and only those who fall in the following categories of the disabled are eligible to apply for the post

OA - One arm affected (Right or Left)

OL - One leg affected (Right or Left)

OAL - One arm & One Leg affected

BL- Both legs affected but not arms

Visually Impaired (VI) :

BLINDNESS : Only those Visually Handicapped (VH) persons who suffer from any one of the following conditions are eligible to apply.

- Total absence of sight

- Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with correcting lenses

- Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degrees or worse

LOW VISION : Candidates having low vision as defined in Chapter I, Para 2 (u) of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protections of Rights and Full Participation) Act 1995

Hearing Impaired :

- The deaf are those persons in whom the sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary purposes of life i.e. total loss of hearing in both ears. They do not hear, understand sounds at all even with amplified speech. Hearing impairment means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.

Use of Scribe & Compensatory Time :

- The facility of scribe would be allowed to a person who has disability of 40% or more if so desired by the person and is meant for only those persons with disability who have physical limitation to write including that of speed. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply :

- Candidates eligible for and who wish to use the services of scribe in the examination should carefully indicate the same in the online application form.

- The candidate will have to give a suitable undertaking, in the prescribed format at the time of online examination

- Such candidates who are eligible for use of a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination whether availing the facility of scribe or not.

- The candidate will have to arrange his/her own scribe at his/her own cost.

- The scribe will be allowed to be used as per the guidelines issued vide Office Memorandum F.No.16- 110/2003-DDIII dated February 26, 2013 of Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs, New Delhi and clarification issued by Government of India, Ministry of Financial, Deptt. of Financial Services vide letter N F.No.3/2/2013-Welfare dated 26.04.2013.

Emoluments - Regular Positions :

- Assistant Manager (System), Developer, Test Lead & Tester, Statistician and Technology Relationships Manager (Tech-RMs) :

- The scale of pay applicable to different grades are furnished below :

Grade Pay Scale :

JMGS I - 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020

MMGS II - 31705-1145/1-32850-1310/10-45950

MMGS III - 42020-1310/5-48570-1460/2-51490

- The officials will also be eligible for DA, HRA. CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund and perquisites as admissible to the corresponding grade etc. as per rules in force from time to time the total compensation per annum would be approximately Rs.11.63 lacs, Rs.15.09 lacs, Rs.18.32 lacs for the grade of JMGS I, MMGS II, MMGS III respectively.

For Contractual positions : The compensation package (CTC) would comprise of fixed and variable components but not a limiting factor for a suitable candidate.

(Contract period 3 year & renewable further period of 2 year)

PROBATION : As per Banks instructions / decided by the competent authority.

SELECTION PROCEDURE (Post Sr. No. 1 to 4) :

- System Officer, Developers, Test Lead, Tester and Statistician The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on 25.11.2016 (In case the number of applicants are less, (Post Sr. No. 1 to 4) Bank reserves the right to complete the selection through shortlisting and interview instead of through test and interview).The date of test will be uploaded on Bank's website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters. The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna & Thiruvananthapuram centres. The Bank, however, reserves the right to add or delete any Centre and allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.

Candidate should choose the name of the centre where he/ she desires to take the examination. No change in the choice of examination centre will be entertained.

- Except Professional Knowledge (PK) paper, other papers will be of qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in these papers. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank. The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. The candidates will have option to answer the questions in Hindi or English (except for test of English Language).

- To be eligible for being short-listed for interview, candidate have to score equal to or above the Cut-off marks to be decided by the Bank for the PK test, besides scoring equal to or above the Minimum qualifying marks in other tests.

- Candidates must secure equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks (to be decided by the Bank) in interview to be considered for selection. In the interview, the candidate can opt for Hindi also.

Merit List : for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in PK test and interview or interview only, as the case may be.

- In case more than one candidate score the cut off marks [common mark at cut off point], such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in the select list as well as in the wait list.

Selection Procedure For The Contractual Positions (Post Sr. No. 6 to 32 and Technology Relationship Manager) :

- Selection for the post will be by shortlisting and interview.

- Candidates are advised to send the computer generated hard copy of application duly signed and pasted with their recent photographs along with relevant documents (date of birth, educational qualification certificate, experience, caste certificates ( if belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer categories) and brief resume to :

- In case of non-receipt of print out of online applications with required documents by 26-10-2016, their candidature will not be considered for the shortlisting and interview. An envelop superscribed with Application for the post of (Mention post) (Mention Sr. No)

Interview : Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview. The qualifying marks in Interview will be as decided by the Bank.

Call Letter For Online Examination (Post Sr. No. 1 to 4) :

- The candidates should download their call letter and an - acquaint yourself- booklet by entering their registration number and password / date of birth, from the Bank's website. No hard copy of the call letter/acuainte yourself booklet will be sent by post.

Proof Of Identity To Be Submitted At The Time Of Examination :

- The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as Passport/Adhar/PAN Card/ Driving Licence/Voter's Card/Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by College or Institution/Gazetted Officer in the official letter head in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof. The photocopy of Identity proof should be submitted along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall, failing which or if identity of candidates is in doubt the candidate will not be permitted to appear for the test.

BIOMETRIC VERIFICATION :

- The Bank, at various stages, may capture thumb impression of the candidates in digital format for biometric verification of genuineness of the candidates. Candidate will ensure that this correct thumb impression is captured at various stages and any inconsistency will lead to rejection of the candidature. In case of any candidate found to be not genuine, apart from taking legal actions against him/her, his/her candidature will be cancelled. As such, they are advised not to apply any external matter like mehandi, ink, chemical etc. on their hands

Action Against Candidates Found Guilty Of Misconduct :

- Candidates are cautioned that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered/ fabricated and they should not suppress any material

information while filling up the application form.

- At the time of examination/interview, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of using unfair means during the examination or impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or misbehaving in the examination hall or resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for selection or obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, will also be liable : to be disqualified from the examination for which he/she is a candidate/ to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by Bank.

- The Bank would be analyzing the responses of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. On the basis of such an analysis, if it is found that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine / valid, the Bank reserves the right to cancel his/ her candidature.

Use Of Mobile Phones, Pagers, Calculator Or Any such Devices :

- Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

- Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned item including mobile phones/ pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot be assured.

- Candidates are not permitted to use or have in possession of calculators or any other communication devices in examination premises.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

-Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. The Bank would admit to the online test for all the candidates applying for the posts (Sr. No. 1 to 4) with the requisite fee on the basis of the information furnished in the online application and shall determine their eligibility only at the time of interview.

- Candidates serving in Govt./Quasi Govt. offices, Public Sector undertakings including Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions are advised to submit 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer at the time of interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered and travelling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid.

- In case of selection, candidates will be required to produce proper discharge certificate from the employer at the time of taking up the appointment.

- Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority on format prescribed by the Government of India will have to be submitted by the SC/STcandidates, if called for interview.

- A declaration will have to be submitted in the prescribed format by candidates seeking reservation under OBC category stating that he/she does not belong to the creamy layer as on 01.04.2016.

OBC certificate containing the 'Non-creamy layer' clause, issued during the period 01.04.2016 to the date of interview, should be submitted by such candidates, if called for interview.

- Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection / inability / failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam.

-SBI does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of SBI.

- Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate for the post Sr. No. 1 to 4. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee / intimation charges paid for the other registrations will stand forfeited. Multiple attendance/ appearance by a candidate in online examination and/ interview will be summarily rejected/ candidature cancelled.

- The possibility for occurrence of some problems in the administration of the examination cannot be ruled out completely, which may impact test delivery and/ or result from being generated. In that event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem, which may include the conduct of another examination if considered necessary.

- Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail ID alive for receiving advices, viz. call letters/ Interview advices etc.

- Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his /her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.

- Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Mumbai and courts/tribunals/ forums at Mumbai only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any cause/dispute.

DISCLAIMER :

- In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not Fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / False information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her candidature Will stand cancelled.
