Senior Application Manager - Food Engineering (15-25 yrs)

We have an Opening for Sr. Application Manager for Mumbai location .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- In-depth understanding and knowledge of the principles of food science and color measurement.

- Developmental Application & Concept Generation of Flavours, Managing Team of Application and Techno-commercial Marketing.

- Development & Application for Food Industry in India as well as Gulf Countries (GCC)

- Plan, lead, execute & proactively development of application projects on a daily basis for segments like Dairy, Confectionery, Sweet Seasoning, Ready to Premix, Breakfast Cereals.

- Anchoring the assessment of technology feasibility studies for application of new platforms to address identified customer needs.

- Keeping a highly focused approach towards innovation in new product development to ensure customer delight.

- Identify appropriate flavour systems & technologies to make recommendation & presentation on suitable submissions for customer briefs.

- Broadly worked on Natural Colours & Natural Extracts for specific customer

- Independently develop & formulate/ matching recipes for various applications as per requirement

- Conducting sensory evaluation as relevant to flavour & final product selection.

- Implementation of FSSAI laws in terms of permitted dosage levels of ingredients/ additives for the development of finished products.

- Handling of Lab Equipment's & Pilot Plants both.

- Conducting trial/ demo as well as technical support to the customers as a part of Techno-Commercial marketing.

- Keeping keen eye on market launches, mapping of products to understand the market trend and proactively develop new concepts.

- Close interaction with Cross-functional & multi-cultural teams providing assistance to the sales & marketing team.

- Plan, lead & execute and development of application projects on a daily basis for segments like Bakery, Beverage, Confectionery, Dairy, Pharma.

- Identify appropriate flavour systems & technologies to make recommendation & presentation on suitable submissions for customer briefs.

- Independently develop & formulate/ matching recipes for various applications as per requirement.

- Understands and has knowledge of the principles of color chemistry and color measurement, and color matching.

- Understands the chemistry and functionality of food ingredients in color formulations.

- Has ability to design simple blends and formulations of existing color building blocks and food ingredients for application projects as required.

- Submits samples for project work and technical requests to customers for evaluation and approval.

- Ensures compliance with regulations governing the specifications and use of colors.

- Has strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Supervises the scientists and technical personnel within the Applications departments and ensures their individual development and growth.

- Visits customers/hosts customer on-site visits, to provide technical consultation and conduct technical presentations throughout the region.
