Senior Buyer (8-20 yrs)
The Buyer / Sr. Buyer is responsible for purchase order execution, delivery follow-up, supplier coordination, and supporting production requirements. The role focuses on ensuring material availability, maintaining ERP accuracy, and adhering to procurement processes.
Educational Qualification / Experience Required
:
- Graduate in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce.
- 5- 8 years of procurement experience.
- Understanding of wiring harness materials preferred.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- ERP knowledge.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Execute purchase orders and manage day-to-day procurement.
2. Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.
3. Resolve supplier issues and escalate risks.
4. Maintain accurate ERP and procurement records.
5. Coordinate with Planning, Stores, and Quality.
Indicative Activities :
- Create POs based on approved PRs.
- Track supplier deliveries and escalate delays.
- Manage shortages, expedite critical parts, and maintain trackers.
- Ensure pricing, terms, and lead times are accurate in ERP.
- Support GRN, NCR closure, and documentation.
- Manage sample procurement for NPIs.
