Senior Civil Engineer (15-20 yrs)
A real estate company in Hyderabad is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing plans for structural soundness and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes
- Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure that construction meets specifications
- Monitoring construction progress to ensure safe conditions for workers and quality workmanship
- Performing cost estimates for projects to determine project feasibility, budget needs, and prices of materials
- Reviewing blueprints to ensure they meet industry standards and codes
- Developing specifications for materials used in construction projects based on research into available materials
- Conducting field surveys to gather data about existing conditions
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of experience as a professional engineer
- Proven experience leading and managing engineering projects
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, codes, and standards
- Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
