At Wick, we are building India's first Automatic Tyre Deflation & Inflation System (ATDIS) for heavy-duty trailers, which is a game-changing innovation for safety, efficiency, and performance. Think pneumatics + control logic + harsh-environment reliability, one system that pays for itself in uptime, fuel efficiency, safety, and tyre life. We own the full loop: rapid 3D printing for concepts, in-house VMC for leak-tight manifolds and fixtures, and an on-road fleet to validate designs under real duty cycles.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for system design, prototyping, and testing, from initial concepts to final on-road validation. This is an opportunity to directly contribute to a pioneering product and see your designs in action.

Responsibilities :

1. Design and optimize pneumatic circuits for product functionality and reliability

2. Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks

3. Select components based on performance, reliability, and cost targets

4. Develop prototypes, conduct functional testing, and validate designs under real-world conditions

5. Collaborate with vendors for fabrication, assembly, and component sourcing

6. Work closely with the Chief Design and Technology Engineers, and founders to iterate designs and solve technical challenges

7. Ensure designs meet relevant industry and safety standards

Qualifications:

1. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

2. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

3. Strong knowledge/ hands-on experience with pneumatic systems

 
4. Proficiency in CAD tools, especially SolidWorks

5. A passion for engineering products that are innovative, durable, and practical
