Senior Design Engineer - AutoCAD/SolidWorks (5-9 yrs)
Domain : Piping (Oil & Gas Industry)
Purpose or function :
1) Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Engineering Design Calculations and Validations
2) Should have knowledge of Engineering materials and manufacturing process/welding techniques.
3) Basic knowledge of pipe Fittings and elbows with respect to ASME standards.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities :
1) Independently execute project activities, like understanding customer inputs, execute Mathcad calculations and create model accordingly in Solid Works.
2) Communication with the customer to resolve project related queries
3) Create 3D models in Solid works 2018
4) Should be able to work on Leak Repair Solutions with Strong Design Calculation background.
CAD Skills :
- Proficiency in Solid Works
- Good Knowledge of Auto Cad & Excel
- Well versed with PDM & PLM Tools
Additional skills :
- Good in written & verbal communication
- Should have experience of customer interaction
- Should be good at the documentation of procedures (SOP) whatever to be carried out while executing work.
Special Requirement :
- Strong Knowledge in Piping and Piping Leakage Design domain
- Should have B1 or B2 Visa
- Ready to travel as per the project requirement
Certification preferred : Knowledge of ASME Standards, Solidworks 2018
