Key responsibilities:

- Communicate and effectively liaison with internal & external customers

- Develop framework for Process design development & documentation

- Feasibility workout for concept for pre order and post order projects

- Should be able to communicate to RFQ to cutting tool suppliers

- Coordinating with customer

- Coordinating with supplier to get the required tools

- Support application during prove out

- Cycle time computation, feasibility, & execution of planned & designed tools

- Capable to individual design and select of tools like, PCD, Carbide Tools, PCBN, OD, ID, Facing, Turning, etc.

Competencies:

- Turning tooling design knowledge for automobile and other industries components

- Knowledge of Cutting parameters

- Knowledge of Turning tools & specs

- Knowledge to prepare the techno commercial comparison of tools

- Knowledge of Fix. concepts design & approve DAP

- Knowledge of GD&T, Capable to finalize design concepts

- Capable to select the toolings from various suppliers

- Knowledge of Quality standard and continuous improvement

Others:

- Capable to make the individual tooling design for turning components for Horizontal turning lathe(HTL) and Vertical turning lathe(VTL)

- Knowledge about GD & T

- Knowledge about solidworks 3D and 2D softwares

- Knowledge of process capability

- Knowledge of cutting parameters for different kind of tools

- Ability to make the cycle time estimation

- Knowledge to select the tooling suitable for components

- Knowledge of Cycle time computation for turning components
