Senior Design Engineer

Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical major

- Experience in Mechanical product design at system or sub-system level in the Water treatment equipment industry

- Good to have hands on experience in design calculations.

- Excellent understanding of materials, processes and finishing operations.

- Exposure in GD&T, Tolerance stack up, DFMEA and Concept Selection Metrics

- Exposure to manufacturing environment

- A deep understanding of huge fabrications, piping, industrial structures, pressure vessel, tanks, valves, pumps used in water treatment equipment is a must.

- Expertise in SolidWorks software. Experience with SolidWorks PDM, Routing, and Simulation add-ins is an added advantage.

- Prior experience/exposure to working in a global engineering environment involving interactions & travel to other locations, including multi-continent reporting and engineering collaboration

- Knowledge and experience of - technical writing is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:

- Lead the design and development of new products, overseeing all aspects of the design process from concept generation to final delivery.

- Utilize advanced engineering principles and tools to create innovative and optimized product designs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.

- Conduct detailed design reviews, testing, and analysis to validate design performance and functionality.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
