Job Summary:
This Design Engineer will be responsible for developing custom machines & solutions for fastening applications. This role will be responsible to understand customer's requirement, lead project from concept to final Installation. This role will own meeting project target of Cost, Time & Quality. This role will work closely with Sales & operations team for overall project profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Custom engineering projects includes idea development, prototype, project execution, and plant/business system implementation
- Work closely with sales & operations team for design development & implementation. Ensure performance, quality, and reliability are maintained throughout the design cycle
- Follow solution engineering process & ensure accuracy and completeness of design output
- Provide technical guidance to team members including Sourcing, Operations, Sales and Marketing for overall project success
- Maintain standards and regulatory requirements
Key Competencies:
1. Special Purpose machine design /Custom Machine / New product development
2. System level design experience with electrical & mechanical interface
3. 3D CAD modeling, Preferably Creo
4. Making Manufacturing prints, GD&T, material selection
5. Manufacturing process of machined parts
6. Pneumatic based automation
7. Excellent Written & Verbal communication skill
