Senior Design Engineer - Valve (4-9 yrs)
Job Description :
- To ensure timely submission of accurate documents.
- Detail oriented, to understand customer requirement to get job done FIRST TIME RIGHT.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, Engineering Calculations Knowledge of Fabrication, Welding Materials, International Codes & Standards (ASME, DIN etc.)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Product life cycle for consistency of performance of the product
- Control valve design & methodology
- New product introduction
- Apply concepts & theories for design
- Maintain mechanical systems in valves and springs Visibility & control of system related to valves
- Actuator selection and design
- Maintain mechanical systems in valves and springs
- Manual coordination with QC as may be required
- To set bench mark in designing (operation wise)
- Improvement in internal work system (design dept)
- Manual valve design To prepare drawings - for client/vendor/ shop floor
- BOM structuring (Approver level)
- Making estimation-only design specific
- Item code (only valve related )
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Should be from Valve industry, having the exposure to design the value
- International Standards (API, ASME etc.)
- Design Calculations
- Autocad exposure
