Senior Design Manager - Mens wear - Export House (5-12 yrs)
We have an exciting opening for Sr Design Manager Men's wear(Suits/Blazer/Shirts/Outer wear)- Leading export house, Bangalore.
Role Brief :
- To manage the product development department for all men`s wear categories ( Jackets/Suits/Shirts/bottoms/Outerwear) for all customers.
- Quarterly/Season wise collections to be made and presented as per buyers timelines and calendar.
- To keep customers engaged with periodic updates on new trends.
- To be able to respond to specific buyer requests.
- Create a studio where buyers can walk in and review ranges and presentations
- Manage a team comprising of fabric technician and sample coordinator
- To work with merchant teams and customers to understand directions and best winners that will be able to generate excitement and additional business.
- Work with fabric mills to understand key strengths and partner in the development stages.
KEY Skills. :
- Good understanding of US and Europe apparel market
- Fine working knowledge of fabrics (working knowledge of woven preferred).
