Senior Designer - Clothes/Apparel Design (2-5 yrs)

Background :

- Fashion Design graduate from NID, NIFT, SOFT or PEARL

- Preferably 2-5 years experience in Lingerie

- Or Experience of 4 to 5 years in women's wear or Kid's wear design -knits or woven's.

- Settled in or willing to settle down in Bangalore for the coming 3 years to ensure continuity and growth in the post.

Skills :

1. Has to have a good grasp of fabrics, knits, print techniques and construction of women-wear/lingerie.

2. Has to have good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Corel Draw or adobe illustrator.

3. Has to have experience of working from Brief, through sampling coordination to presentation.

4. Has to be articulate, since verbal ability is used to translate the design

Duties :

1. Needs to be able to manage resources to meet design deadlines effectively

2. Needs to be able to be able to select fabrics/prints/trims as are viable for the category, brand, theme and season.

3. Needs to be willing to travel to source fabrics/prints/trims as required.

4. Needs to be able to travel to EBOs and stores for sales or market or input as relevant to design

5. Needs to be able to provide clear indents for sampling and work in tandem with patterning and sampling to ensure good products for presentation.

6. Will report to Design manager
