Brief job Description:

- Study of the 3d product design data for manufacturability study.

- Gun accessibility study on 3d product data to minimize variety of guns.

- Work out design solution to manufacturability issue with R&D and sheet metal tool design.

- Planning for assembly sequence in view of geometric requirement of BIW.

- Finalize Primary Location Points (PLP) & Auxiliary Location Points (ALP) for continuity of geometric built up

- Process planning including the basic location, clamping schemes and welding directions.

- Work out the stage wise cycle times and finalizes welding stages.

- Making of equipment & utilities lists and budgeting for the same.

- Preparation of layouts.

- Preparation of RFQ, synopsis of the quotations.

- Releasing Purchase Orders.

- Understand the safety requirements in installations & coordinate with contractors for safe and timely installation of equipment.

- Close coordination with Q/A for CMM measurements of BIW, analyze the CMM reports and de bug the Part or Welding fixture.

- Coordinate with Production, Q/A teams for commissioning of welding and handling equipment.

- Plan and implement pokayoke and automation proposals in work area for PQCDSM improvements,

We need candidates passed out from Govt. Engineering colleges or NIT/IIT preferably with relevant experience and interested in relocation to Aurangabad.

Should have scored more than 65% of marks in X,XII & BE / BTech. Diploma Holders and Part time BE holders not considered.

With at least 6-8 years of ME - BIW experience in an Automotive 3 or 4 wheeler company in the capacity of a Engineer / Senior Engineer in Vehicle Assembly Line.

Strong command of English, Hindi & Marathi .

Exposure / Experience in the following area:

- Experience in following softwares.

Teamcenter

UGNX10

Autocad

MS office

- Should have knowledge of GD&T and clear understanding of vehicle/local datum, and analytical capabilities to analyze CMM reports to plan the corrective actions.

- Should have exposure of handling above activities for BIW

- Should have knowledge and exposure in implementation of TPM systems, including JH activities.

- Exposure to Why-Why analysis, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions PLC / VFD systems.

- Good communication, planning, coordination and leadership skills.
