Senior Engineer - Engine Testing/Operations/Assembly (3-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Delivers role of Sr Engineer Operations for Engine testing and lead operations team in shifts.
- Production planning as per demand and resource deployment.
- Supervision of wage work force to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Efficiency matrices.
- Reporting of safety issues and ensure safety practices on shop floor.
- Ensure high level of discipline on shop floor and take necessary action on in disciplinary issues.
- Actively working with Maintenance team to improve OPE of assembly line.
- Lead CI activities on shop floor.
- Involve in PCN / ECN Processes.
- Analysis of quality issues and ensure closing to improve FPY.
- Coordinate product audits .
- Drive cost saving initiative on shop floor.
- Execution of QPS on shop floor like 5-S, TPM, NFFP, FLEXING, JSA, Operator certification etc.
- Involve in new equipment planning and installation with ME.
Required Skills :
- Strong knowledge in Engine Testing
- Knowledge of COP approval process
- Understands the New Product Delivery Process, ISO
- Knowledge of six sigma and QC tools, ISO, QS, OHSAS, Lean manufacturing.
