Senior Engineer/ Engineer (Process)

Responsible for technical oversight and optimization of production. Ensuring efficient and high-quality production, troubleshooting issues, and leading teams to improve processes and maintain equipment and responsible for project management for upgrades and expansions within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analysing production processes (extrusion, stretching, coating, winding) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.

- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues that arise during film production, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production targets.

- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, managing maintenance activities, and ensuring the efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment.

- Leading and managing capital projects related to production, including modernization, capacity expansion, and equipment upgrades.

- Motivating, training, and providing guidance to maintenance technicians and other team members.

- Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations and standards within the facility.

- Ensuring that all production processes and products meet established quality standards.

- Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives, such as energy conservation measures and optimized maintenance practices.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 6+ years in a manufacturing processes, including extrusion, stretching, coating, and winding.

2. Familiarity with relevant machinery and equipment, such as extruders, tenter frames, winders, and control systems.

3. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

4. Experience in managing and executing engineering projects.

5. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.

6. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

7. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is often preferred.
