Position Title: Sr. Engineer/Engineer - Service

Department: New Product Division

Location: Vadodara

Education - Diploma / B-Tech in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics

Experience:

- Engineer: 3-5 years in Machine Tools Service/Installation.

- Sr. Engineer: 7-8 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation of Electrical/Electronic Accessories & Control Systems:

 - Oversee the installation and commissioning of new products, such as Double Column Machines, Horizontal Machining Centers, and Vertical Turning Machines manufactured by Cosmos.

- Perform Power-on testing and verify the functionality of machines at customer sites.

- Approve customer installation sites, ensuring proper setup before installing heavy machinery.

2. Customer Focus & Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful installation and service.

- Provide solutions to meet customer expectations while adhering to company objectives.

3. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed installation and maintenance reports.

4. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance of installed machines to ensure optimal performance.

5. Extensive Travel & On-Site Work:

o Be prepared for extended travel and long-term stays at customer sites to oversee installation and service activities.

Essential Skills:

- Strong knowledge of CNC machine electrical accessories, installation, and commissioning.

- Experience in installing large machines is highly advantageous.

- Familiarity with CNC machine service, maintenance, and basic operations.
