Senior Engineer - Procurement/SCM (4-6 yrs)
Job Description :
Position : Senior Engineer
Reporting to : Manager
Location : Bangalore
Role : This Role is aimed at supporting the Manager / Head DBO in identifying suppliers, price negotiations, costing, sourcing, ensure quality as per specifications and on time delivery to customer premises. Attending to problems related to product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for purchasing auxiliary items for Turbo Generator island with focus on Cost, Quality,Delivery and performance.
- Achievement of cost reduction on procurement of items assigned.
- Co-ordination with design/projects/Suppliers for smooth execution of projects.
- Co-ordination with suppliers/design for drawing approvals.
- Development of alternate vendors for critical items.
- Regular follow up with concerned vendors for timely despatch of components to site.
- Maintain documents/records inline with QMS.
- Focus on achieving Zero Defect on all the deliverables
Salary:INR 6,50,000 - 9,00,000 P.A.
