Senior Engineer - Purchase (6-8 yrs)
Role Purpose
Drive procurement operations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals. Lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in purchasing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement best-practice procurement strategies and policies.
- Optimize supply chain efficiency and mitigate procurement risks.
- Lead eProcurement and digitization initiatives.
- Develop supplier partnerships and negotiate contracts for commercial advantage.
- Track procurement metrics, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Mentor junior team members, set KPIs, and foster accountability.
- Build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships; communicate market changes and support new business initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain (MBA preferred).
- 6- 8 years in procurement/purchasing, ideally in automotive/manufacturing.
- Proven record in cost reduction, supplier development, and contract management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel); ERP knowledge preferred.
- Solid understanding of automotive components and supply chain practices.
