Role Overview
The Senior Executive - Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and automation processes within the spices manufacturing unit. The role ensures uninterrupted production operations, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and energy efficiency across plant machinery and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure smooth functioning of production machinery such as grinders, pulverizers, mixers, packaging machines, conveyors, and utility equipment.
- Monitor and maintain LT panels, control panels, MCC panels, transformers, and electrical wiring systems.
-Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms and food industry regulations.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical teams for minimizing downtime.
- Maintain electrical documentation, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
- Oversee DG sets, power backup systems, and energy consumption optimization.
- Support automation systems, PLCs, VFDs, and sensors where applicable.
- Lead a team of technicians and ensure proper task allocation.
