Senior Executive - Quality Assurance - Materials Inspection (3-13 yrs)
Accountabilities :
- Clearance of Incoming raw materials and finished products - meeting quality and schedule as required by customers.
- Reducing customer complaints in BF.
- Compliance to ISO 9001 standard
- Standards released from BQMT process.
- Participation by members of QA function
- Ensuring overall people participation in improvement inititaives
Responsibilities :
- Developing and implementing quality plans for products at every stage of raw material receipts to manufacturing
- Developing Standard inspection and packaging norms for customers and ensuring implementation in the shop floor.
- Upgrading norms for clearance of rolls with concurrence of customers
- Make case to case decisions on roll clearance after discussions with customers on those rolls that marginally miss customer requirements. Planning for diversion and disposition of final product rework
- Tracking changes in materials and methods and validating the effects of such changes with information to management
- Liaising with MLT in selecting and evaluating vendors at defined intervals
- Registering complaints and communicating to relevant functions
- Responding to customers on corrections and proposed countermeasures
- Assisting the investigation team. Visiting customer sites where required for observations and discussions
- Ensure resolution of customer complaints with corrective actions; and standardize the work methods
- Communicate corrective action report to the customer
- Updating procedures and instructions in accordance with the standard
- Training and upgrading knowledge of operatives on systems and implements
- Drawing and implementing internal audit schedules
- Reviewing continued effectiveness of QMS
- Updating procedures and instructions in accordance with the standard

- Reviewing continued effectiveness of QMS
- Review the contribution by QA members on Kaizens, OPL, no of projects completed through QC circles and PSP.
- Planning and Training QCCs
- Facilitating for Kaizens and 5S initiatives in the plant
- Facilitate PSP Blue batches in the plant
- Conduct common acknowledgement and recognition for the plant
