Senior GM/AVP - Commercial - Manufacturing (17-25 yrs)
- Strong credentials in Purchase / Sourcing of raw material, machinery, components in a B2B Industrial products / engineering goods / capital equipment.
- Strategic initiatives including cost reduction and supply chain re-engineering.
- Lead on all aspects of sourcing of direct and in-direct material & services like negotiations, vendor development, project and capital purchases.
- Sub-contracting & job work, inventory management and annual service contracts including preparing / validating techno-commercial comparisons and justification sheets.
- Identify and develop suppliers and initiate business partnership.
- Anticipate unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
- Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
- Vendor network and contacts. Ability and strong credentials in motivating the purchase team including subsidiary companies and drive aggressive high performance culture.
- Conversant with ISO / TS system and proper documentation. Strong focus on developing and implementing systems & processes.
- ERP Proficient with overall commercial knowledge of various statutory and indirect tax compliance related to purchase, Incumbent will oversee purchases of Rs. 150 to Rs. 200 crores.
