Senior Hardware Engineer (3-5 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION : Sr. Hardware Engineer
Key Responsibilities :
- Apply prescriptive methodology to project tasks
- Collaborate with various engineering functional teams
- Perform specification review
- Hardware design
- Communicate any non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties
- Hardware testing
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
- Execute project subtasks in order to meet specifications (designing, testing, etc)
- Identify areas for technical improvement using engineering knowledge and principals
YOU MUST HAVE :
- Bachelor's degree - BE / BTECH
- 3 - 5 years experience in product hardware design
GOOD TO HAVE :
- AC/DC, DC/DC Power supply design, Analog and digital circuit design, Low power design
- Micro-controller base product design
- Identify design issues and propose solutions.
- Design for EMI/EMC
- Knowledge of Communication standards
- Hands on experience in conducting the certification testing as per standards
- Prepare design document, test plan and test reports
- White and black box hardware testing
- You will participate in schematic/layout review process and test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production.
