The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydrology Engineer to join our engineering back-office team and support the delivery of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in hydrology, stormwater management, and drainage infrastructure design, with proven experience contributing to multidisciplinary consultancy deliverables for large-scale infrastructure programs. This role requires strong analytical skills, coordination capability, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical outputs across project stages.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering (Master's Degree is an advantage).

- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in hydrology and drainage infrastructure design.

- Strong background in stormwater networks, flood risk assessment, surface water modelling, and sustainable drainage solutions.

- Proven experience working on large infrastructure and urban development projects.

- Consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment experience preferred.

- Proficiency in hydrology and modelling tools such as InfoWorks ICM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, Civil3D, or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of design standards, technical documentation, and infrastructure coordination requirements.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.

- Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to all hydrology and drainage engineering deliverables across infrastructure project stages.

- Develop and review stormwater drainage designs, flood assessments, calculations, technical reports, and specifications.

- Support planning and design of resilient stormwater and surface water management systems.

- Coordinate effectively with utilities, water engineering, transport, and multidisciplinary project teams.

- Participate in design reviews, quality assurance checks, and technical problem-solving activities.

- Ensure hydrology systems are integrated with wider infrastructure and urban development requirements.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and CAD teams.
