JOB DESCRIPTION

Role/Specialization: Senior Interior Designer

Objective : Conceptualization, design, and execution of high-end interior spaces that reflect luxury, innovation, and cultural relevance, while aligning with the firm's brand identity and business goals.

The Senior Interior Designer will ensure design excellence across all projects, manage cross-functional collaboration, and deliver bespoke interiors.

Responsibilities :

1. On site management of Interior design project for execution.

2. Coordinate with Reporting Manager to execute interiors on site as well as create feasibility studies and design briefs when necessary.

3. Build high level relationship with senior management to establish future value creation by offering trusted advice.

4. Ensure successful delivery and completion of the project within agreed timelines and budgets.

5. Produce detailed design concepts, proposals, mood and material boards.

6. Establish a relationship with local and international vendors to source materials and products

7. Conduct site visits and coordinate with on-site contractor team and consultants (structural designers, fa- ade consultants, MEP consultants, lighting consultants, sustainability consultants etc).

8. Well versed with reading, understanding, editing and maintaining Working Drawings to ensure efficient execution on site.

9. Create and maintain a unique material library (physical and digital) for interior and exterior applications.

10. Monitor and guide on project management and advise/allocate resources and staff.

11. Strategize and communicate effectively to solve business issues / needs.

Qualifications and skill-sets:

1. Bachelors in Interior Designing. Masters in Interior Designing from an exceptional institute will be preferred.

2. Degree in Architecture would be a plus.

3. Preferred knowledge of 3-D modelling & rendering software like Illustrator, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Lumion, V-ray or other related software.

4. Proven, robust work experience of 13-15 years with reputed firms, minimum 5 years in the luxury segment.

5. Proficient in using the drafting software AutoCad.

6. Be updated on emerging technology platforms.

7. Express high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people - contractors, architects, vendors.

8. Exceptional attention to detail, time management, coordination skills and strong communication skills

9. Reliable, focused, confident, articulate and self-directed with a high level of initiative and a - can do- attitude
