We are hiring experienced and skilled Mechanical / Rolling Mill Fitters to join our maintenance team in a dynamic steel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment- especially within the rolling mill section.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment including mill stands, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, shears, and coilers.

- Assemble, install, and align heavy machinery used in steel processing and rolling operations.

- Identify and repair faults in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

- Participate in roll changes, equipment alignment, and routine mechanical inspections.

- Interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals for equipment servicing.

- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area and follow all safety protocols.

- Collaborate with production and electrical teams to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- 3- 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in a rolling mill or steel plant.

- Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.

- Ability to use precision tools and follow technical instructions.

- Physically fit and capable of working in hot, industrial environments.

Preferred Experience:

- Exposure to rolling mills (hot or cold), continuous casting, or structural steel production.

- Basic knowledge of welding or fabrication is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance reporting.
