Senior Manager/AGM - Civil Design (10-20 yrs)
Job Title: Civil Design - Structural
Department: Civil Design - Project
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, RCDC, AutoCAD, Excel.
- Expertise in civil/structural design for Transmission Lines, Substations, and Distribution.
- Experience in tendering, estimation, bid documentation, and technical guidance to teams.
Experience & Qualification:
- 15+ years in T&D EPC civil design (substation, transmission line, control room, GIS building).
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare BOQs, quantity estimates, and tender drawings.
- Design substation structures: gantry towers, equipment supports, control rooms, GIS buildings, cable trenches, drainage, foundations (isolated, raft, pile), retaining walls, roads, fencing, pump houses, water tanks, and ancillary buildings.
- Conduct structural analysis in STAAD Pro; develop foundation designs.
- Review fabrication/vendor drawings and provide site coordination during execution.
- Support pre-bid designs, land development proposals, and technical queries.
- Manage site visits, data collection, and client/vendor coordination.
