We have an urgent job opportunity for the position of "Sr Manager EHS / Safety" based at Pune / Mumbai with a leading Pharmaceutical industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Monitor and ensure compliance with local Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health regulations and HSE policies and guidelines

- Responsible for efficient operation for Effluent Treatment Plant.

- Monitor and ensure that fire protection systems and emergency response system are in state of readiness.

- Part of Technology transfer group for compliance of HSE aspects like powder safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management of the products being transferred to the site.

- Implement best Industrial Hygiene practices at site for reducing chemical exposure at work place.-

- Conduct campaigns on Hazard identification, Defensive driving, Behavior Based Safe.

- Investigate into accidents and unusual incidents to facilitate prevention and remedial measures.

- Hazop, Risk analysis studies for all process and operations.

- Preliminary Safety Start up review of all new projects / changes in existing process.

- Monitor and report regular HSE performance to Site Management and Global HSE team.

- Provide HSE training to own employees and contractual workforce.

- To Ensure effective implementation, maintenance and periodic review of EHSMS in the dept.

- Advise and assist the factory management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safe working environment

- Overall responsibility of environment management system in the plant including operation of ETP and zero discharge system ( RO, MEE, ATFD) and waste minimization etc.

JOB SPECIFICATION :

Qualification : BE ( Environment)/ ME/ MTech ( Env)) / MSc (Environment)/ MEM ( Masters in Env management), BE (Chemical)/Masters of Industrial Safety and hygiene with Diploma in Industrial Safety

Relevant Experience : Minimum 15 Years
