Senior Manager - Environment/Health & Safety - Plant (10-20 yrs)
1. Define and institute systems and procedures for managing EHS across the company.
2. Implementation of Behavior Based Safety Management System in the Plant.
3. Ensure compliance with all EHS regulatory requirements and the Company standards.
4. Assess risk associated with business processes, manufacturing processes/plants and act to minimize risks.
5. Provide specialized EHS expertise and assist in developing location knowledge of EHS regulations and corporate standards.
6. Define, obtain, and coordinate necessary EHS reports, communications and EHS self-assessments for the location.
7. Reduce environmental impact by reduction in water, fuel and power consumption
8. Liaise with statutory authorities such as DISH, MPCB, PESO, and Local Governing Bodies.
9. Responsible for implementation and sustenance of IMS (ISO14001 & OHSAS18001) and British Safety Councils Five Star Certifications in the Plant and act as Management Representative for IMS
10. Design Annual EHS Training Calendar & training modules and conduct training programs for workforce
11. Investigation of Accidents/Incidents and horizontal deployment of Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
