Senior Manager - Farm Machinery - Drone Industry (2-5 yrs)

Role Description:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with major Agri Drones OEMs in India, fostering collaboration and strategic partnerships.

- Develop and maintain contacts within the Chinese or import Agri Drone ecosystem

- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process for Agri Drones products, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, contract manufacturing and logistics.

- Build a knowledge repository of spare parts, replacement cycles and create a supply chain for availability of spares

- Lead and participate in research and development activities to enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of machinery and also design new machinery

Candidate Requirement:

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Industry Preference: Drone industry (Experience with Agri Drones being highly preferred.) 


Work Experience: Should have 2 to 5 years of experience in the drone industry, with proven experience in product development, R&D, manufacturing, or supply chain management within the drone sector.

Skill Sets:

- Strong expertise in developing and testing prototypes with the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback. This is crucial for refining designs and driving product innovation.

- Experience in understanding customer needs and translating them into product or feature requirements. Rooted understanding of farmer use cases and behavior is highly preferred.

- Should understand machine manufacturing basics, critical components, import processes, and machine transportation, along with hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a dynamic environment and should demonstrate team building acumen along with excellent communication.

- Should be willing to embrace a start-up culture of iterations, failed attempts, ambiguity etc
