Job Description :

As a Mechanical Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and reliability of machinery and equipment in our Ductile Iron production facility. Your role will involve executing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing corrective measures to minimize downtime and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Equipment Maintenance : 

- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.Execute preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of assets.Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical components, including pumps, conveyors, crushers, and other machinery.

Troubleshooting :

- Investigate and diagnose mechanical failures and abnormalities promptly.Develop effective solutions to address mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve complex problems and enhance equipment reliability.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.Generate comprehensive reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvement.

Safety and Compliance :

- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulations.Implement safety measures to create a secure working environment for the maintenance team.

Team Collaboration : 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to achieve common goals.Provide guidance and support to junior maintenance staff.

Required Qualification :

- Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.)
