Senior Manager Process (Chemicals and Plastics)
You will be responsible for oversing, analyzes, and optimizes chemical and plastic manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Developing and implementing process improvements, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing teams, and collaborating with different departments to meet production and business goals. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency with relevant engineering software.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce defects, and minimize waste.
- Lead significant projects related to process design, modification, and implementation, from feasibility studies to execution.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards, including maintaining ISO certification and implementing strict operating procedures.
- Provide chemical engineering expertise for the definition and improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Manage, train, and motivate engineering and operational teams, providing guidance and reviewing performance.
- Gather, analyze, and report on process performance metrics and productivity to senior management.
- Oversee budgets and allocate resources effectively to support process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process reference documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process-related drawings.
- Address operational issues and implement best practices to resolve them.
Qualification And Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field, with a strong academic record and Extensive experience of 12-15 Years in process design, engineering, and manufacturing within the chemical and plastics industry.
2. Deep understanding of chemical and plastic manufacturing processes, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
3. Expertise in process modeling and optimization software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and control systems.
4. Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
5. Strong ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and conduct risk assessments.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey technical information to various stakeholders.
7. Deep understanding of chemical and plastic manufacturing processes, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
