Position : Sr.Manager- Processes & Projects

Location : Pune

Reporting : Director - Operations

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Education & experience:

- Bachelor's degree (preferred) in any Mechanical with 10 to 12 years of Experience.

- Proficiency in MS Office

ROLE PURPOSE :

Responsible for processes in material technology and Investment projects for material technology.

Competencies:

- Have excellent communication skills

- Be able to plan ahead and manage time

- Be good at encouraging and motivating people

- Be able to relate to employees at lower levels

- Have good computer skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

(a) Plan capitalization projects and ensure implementation

- To study the customer specific requirements & limitation of existing process.

- Prepare conceptual process design.

- CFT formation

- Off line trials before finalizing specifications

- Study the hurdles and make action plan based on DFMEA methodology.

- Finalize suppliers on based on capability and service.

- Conduct equipment's and process proving trials

- Process validation and documentation.

(b) Identify the flaws & devise new process

- Rejection analysis.

- Identify root cause by Six Sigma methodology.

- Validate root cause.

- Design process to eliminate root cause.

(c) VAVE for product / process cost reduction.

- CFT formation.

- Identify primary and secondary functions.

- Finalise new design for product / process.

- Conduct techno-commercial audit.
