Role Objective

Strong knowledge of Food Production, channelized towards Production and Material Movement Planning, Achieving Production Targets, maintaining the various quality standards and maintaining team productivity & efficiency.

Key Responsibility Area

- Production planning, vetting the Monthly Production and dispatch Plan at the warehouses

- Overall responsible for the production operation, efficiency of storage, productivity, quality assurance & stock keeping database maintenance

- Ensure and comply with maintenance of required quality standards and the dispatch at the warehouses

- Responsible for all quality, regulatory and safety requirements as per defined standards

- Optimizing labor and machine utilization

- Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met

- Propose towards improvement & implementation of latest production techniques to enhance productivity

- Maintain coordination with Quality, Inspection Team.

- Ensure TAT for Customer orders & all requirement of the customer .

- Team handling and building high level of productivity and sense of ownership

- Ensuring Cost Control in Production Process

- Liasoning with the respective Govt. bodies towards deriving benefits in terms of utilizing the various benefits and cost optimization

Qualification

- Graduate with MBA

- Sound in MS Office and working knowledge of ERP preferable

Experience

- 8-10 years experience in handling production in Food industry, with minimum 4 years in a strategic role

- Preferably experience in Tea Industry

- Team Handling experience
