Senior Manager - Project Engineering (7-12 yrs)
Job Duties :
- Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
- Interface with design team for complete understanding of project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Prepare Gantt chart for execution of project with clear definition of time and cost for project execution.
- Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements.
- Assign responsibilities for various elements of project execution.
- Co-ordinate with procurement team, vendors and customers for smooth execution.
- Evaluate the proposals from different vendors technical against project requirement.
- Ensure project is executed in defined metrics of cost, time and resources.
- Confirms product performance by conducting pre-handover tests.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems, schedule changes recommending actions.
- Controls project costs; administering contractor contracts.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains project data base.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with central and state regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Communicating project progress to all stakeholders.
Project Engineer Skills and Qualifications :
- BE/B Tech is a MUST.
- Adept at analysing data, understanding design, Project Management, 5 S, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management, Supervision, CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design
