Job Role:

- Prepare annual New Product Development budget aiming at Business revenue growth, market expansion, cost reduction and effective utilisation of utilities, equipments, instruments, RMs and facilities

- Conduct Literature survey of new/existing Product for new developments

- Route findings from the literature survey ensuring economical and environmentally feasible process

- Co-ordinate with HoD and other stakeholders for information sharing on new product development

- Monitor design, development, and trials or prototype designed for assigned projects and its timely and smooth execution

- Support NPD team and provide all Engineering data in case of any new project commissioning

- Impart training and handholding related to safety and parameters to production

- Support in technology transfer to plant level product production execution as and when required

- Review daily/weekly/monthly reports on New Product Development progress and activities to advise on corrective actions/solutions to problems as required

- Prepare annual Product Safety & Environment Management budget aiming at cost reduction and effective utilisation of utilities, equipments, instruments, RMs and facilities and review adherence to same from time to time

- Prepare and maintain commercial and R&D composition databases, labels, packaging requirements, certificates of compliance, product registrations and approvals, and ensure ongoing compliance with national, international, state, local, and corporate product safety requirements for various products

- Ensure all Products are properly classified & complied per required regulations

- Manage Product safety & reliability studies supporting product registration and safety (as assigned)

- Ensure all product safety data is documented and validated
