JOB DESCRIPTION - Senior Manager Warehouse/Fulfillment Centre

Roles and Responsibilities :

- This role requires working with business teams across the company to define requirements and high level process/system solutions, leading cross-functional teams and managing the timelines for field operations teams to support project launches.

- To be customer centric, work on operational metrics, high focus on quality, productivity & safety.

- This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control.

- Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential, as are a willingness to - roll up your sleeves- and get into the details that will make Operations world-class.

Main Duties and Functions :

- Has knowledge and experience in direct-to-customer fulfillment operations as well as excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Finds practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality

- Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, designing process solutions

- Ability to utilize exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills to influence business and technical audiences

- Provide day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of newer systems/processes and gather feedback

- Map business requirements, understand business process, study and analyze workflows, design solution

- Effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities

- Prepare & Implementation of Warehouse Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Understanding & Defining of Warehouse Operational Goals & KPIs .

- Implementation of Good Warehouse Practices, Health & Safety norms and Internal Audit Procedures

- Warehouse Cost Control Management

- Would be responsible for sending out Shift Wash reports at end of each shift.

- Managing Monthly Operational review & scorecard

- Tracking and evaluating Service partners KPIs along with measurable

- Escalations of deviations through proper matrix and take necessary preventive measures

- Validation and on time renewals of service provider's agreement based on the renewal cycle

- Timely Execution and Flawless fulfillment of customer orders

- Coordinate with the Operation Team / Service partners regarding on time order processing

- Close analysis and tracking of the lead time adherence for Order to Shipping

- Effective inventory management within the eligible or Nil deviations and Damages

- Reconciliation of Month end Audits deviations found With the concerns & Follow up actions based on Findings

- Managing the Daily Operational related issues for avoid the Business RISK

- Excellent Coordination and alignment with internal stakeholder & External Stake holders.

- Ensure on time Inward & Put away of the stocks to make Inventory available for Customers

- Prepare and circulate all MIS's on time as per management guidelines and processes

- Effective management skill to encounter day to day operational challenges

- Would be able to take decisions on processes & systems with approval and consent of the reporting managers

Experience Needed (Professional) :

- Minimum 10-18 years of relevant work experience in WMS environment

- Preferably a B.E (Mech/ Electronics/ Elec/ IP) from Tier 1 colleges- ( Compulsory)

- MBA Ops from NITIE/SIOM /SP Jain/IIM/ISB - ( Desirable)

- Having exposure in WH project Execution- New Set up (in terms of Infra and Processes)

- Having Managed warehouse operations actively and also having deft in service provider management

- Having knowledge of in and out of FC operations.

- Should have lead Warehousing operations or should have worked on a similar level for minimum 3 years.

- Have knowledge of Warehousing layouts /Setups/ Experience of any Start Ups

- Experience in Either Organized Retail/ E commerce/ FMCG/Consumer Goods/Food

- Having worked in WMS or in a well versed ERP atmosphere

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Extremely good in knowledge of ERP

- Extremely proficient in MS Office (Extreme proficiency in Advanced Excel, PPT)

- Excellent in Communication Skills.

- Excellent Leadership skills

- Eye for details and very Strong in Number crunching & Analysis.

Candidate should be flexible enough /willing to relocate to Gurgaon - As this is a 3PL Warehouse operations role, the candidate needs to be situated as close to the Warehouse location as possible ( Ideally, among a Team of 4 managers of Different profile within the Ops Team to be based out of the company, 2 would be everyday visiting the 3PL Warehouse on a regular basis on a company Provided Transport to Pataudi)
