Senior PD Technician (6-10 yrs)
Maintain the product development and technical activities
Prime Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Ensure to review tech pack in detail and prepare Product Development notes involving merchandiser, costing, pattern master, embellishment technician and sampling dept.
2. Ensure risk assessment is done on individual product (embellishment risks discussed with embellishment technician and embellishment managers)
3. Ensure to send Garmenting and spec queries to buying tech & close accordingly.
4. Explain buyers- standard requirements and explain fit comments to base pattern master to prepare patterns to close the fits
5. Ensure Internal evaluation is done for buying/fit/sealer and gold seal samples
6. Ensure all the fit related samples first fitted on mannequins internally and send to buyer/tech through merchandiser
7. Sending Weekly fit requests to Buying tech/FSUK
8. Prepare fit & goldseal workbooks for buyer/tech approval
9. Chasing buying tech/FSUK for fit comments/approvals
10. Based on fit closer releasing the graded specs to merchandisers to raise bulk FR
11. Review/send grading templates to buying/tech. for approval
12. Releasing tech documents with seal and sign for production wallet (Final sample with mock-up if any, Graded specs
13. Reviewing gold seals along with the test reports and related documents / production wallet
14. Responsible for Block spec clarification & corrections
15. Responsible for On time fit closer
16. Responsible for samples quality, test reports checking
17. Responsible for releasing right details for production docket
