We are looking for a dynamic production professional to lead production, planning, and dispatch operations in our automotive/weather strip manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in production processes, manpower management, resource optimization, and dispatch coordination to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day production activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

- Prepare and execute production schedules, capacity planning, and material planning in alignment with customer demand.

- Ensure effective dispatch management, timely delivery, and coordination with logistics.

- Monitor and control machine utilization, productivity, and downtime.

- Implement lean manufacturing practices, 5S, Kaizen, TPM to optimize efficiency.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams for smooth operations.

- Manage shop floor manpower, training, and performance monitoring.

- Track KPIs related to OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), production yield, rejections, and delivery adherence.

- Handle escalations related to customer delivery requirements and production bottlenecks.

- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and statutory regulations on the shop floor.

Requirements:

Education: BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience:

- 6- 10 years for Sr. Production Engineer

- 12- 15 years for Plant Head / HOD - Production

- Hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, and dispatch in automotive/ancillary industry.

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for weather strips, rubber/plastic/automotive components.

- Proven experience in plant operations, manpower handling, and customer delivery management.
