Senior Program Manager - CAD - Auto Ancillary Industry (10-18 yrs)

Job Description :


1. Strategy/Department Development/Leadership

- Develop the strategic direction for the CAD topics in alignment with IT partners

- Establish CAx support and drive as a strategic extension to CoC at Germany

- Drive Co-location strategy for setting up direct business model with RD Engineering for all CAD related requirements

Support RD @ India strategy and be a SPOC to drive all IT related requirements

- Develop required technical and domain competency for the teams to go the next level of ownership

- Need to have working level experience in any of the CAD software's. Preferred NX

- Must have deep level understanding of Design, Development of automobile/aerospace or related components

- Experience in domains of BiW, Powertrain, Vehicle subdomains would be an added advantage

2. Customer/ Partner Relationship Management / Sales / Communications

- Drive IT for the business by tracking IT performance against strategic goals and communicate progress to all key stakeholders.

- Integrate as a part of the CoC in Germany for associated sub-domain

- Develop excellent network and communication to stakeholders.

- Execute topics and project-specific communication to ensure customer satisfaction

- Handle escalations in area of responsibility

3. Operational topics/Performance/Quality Mgmt/Project Mgmt

- Ensure successful service/project/program execution (cost, time, quality) for services/projects/programs in responsibility.

- Ensure efficiency (business case) for all defined projects and investments in responsibility

4. Innovation : Develop and drive the innovation culture with in the team

5. HR Development / Personnel topics / Workers Council

- Define, maintain and check individual target agreement and goals for employees in the Team (including review of target agreement, appraisal and feedback)

- Initiate actions for further development of employees

- Plan manpower, development, allocation and deployment

- Inspire and motivate employees to high performance

- Keep employee commitment at level high and increase retention

- Safeguard critical resources and maintain diversity

6. Supplier Management

- Plan and manage external resources in the area of responsibility

- Select, order and steer external suppliers for Information Office's services in responsibility

- Ensure effective communication with external partners

7. Budget/Financial Topics/Planning/Controlling/Pricing

- Be accountable for all Financial topics under the area of responsibility

- Handle dedicated budget responsively.

- Utilize resources and budget optimally.

8. Misc/Specifics/Legal Affairs

- Contribute effectively to core department activities as a part of leadership team

- Own and drive certain department activities

- Transfer best practices and Lessons learnt across the department and seek the same from other managers
