Senior Quality Engineer - Cement Plant (5-20 yrs)

Job Description :
Experience : 5 to 20 years.
Qualification : M.Sc. (Chemistry - Inorganic)
- Minimum 5 years in Cement Plant Quality department (Integrated Plant)
About the Role :
- Supervises client staff and other site staff in their execution of work tasks related to the Quality testing /Optimization/Troubleshooting.
- Perfection in XRF calibration sample preparation and equipment calibration.
- Perfection in wet chemical analysis and crucial testings linked to plant operation.
- Participates in sales process in proposal preparation,
- Participates in report preparation,
Job Responsibility :
- Assist to audit team for quality related issue for execution of audit/ optimization / Troubleshooting.
- Work through the productivity Laboratory services lifecycle, from project inception to report submission and invoice payment collection
- Leads a team of experts and provides value-added solution to the customer.
- Site travel expected : Around 80-100 days/year
Required knowledge/competencies :
- Should have knowledge of calibration and handling of all the quality testing equipment, XRF, XRD, PSA, Calorimeters (Coal and Cement), spectrophotometer, flame photometer, etc.
- Complete Chemical analysis by gravimetric and EDTA method of raw-materials, semi-finished and finished products.
- Analysis of minor constituent by spectrophotometer and flame photometer.
- Determination of Sulphide Sulphur in Slag.
- Complete Physical testing of Cement, fly ash, coal and other raw materials.
