One of our esteemed clients is looking for experienced, diligent, intelligent, engineers with demonstrated experience. Main Objective is to maintain design documentation as per the criterias; Manage Continuous Engineering Activity for Existing Products; Improve the Design and Performance of Existing Products.

Key Objectives of this Role:-

1) The objective of ensuring manufacture of - Right First Time- products

2) Implement quality assurance and control systems for key product lines

3) Assist in the manufacturing transfer of products

4) Testing and qualification of new products to national and international standards

Roles & Responsibilities:

Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible to implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control of all manufactured products

1.) Maintain Plant-level Quality Culture and Quality System

2.) Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 requirements

3.) Conduct In-process and Final Inspections as per protocol

4.) Ensure timely competence assessment of the Production team through Skill Mapping

5.) Provide training & development to Production Team as per requirement to increase level of competence, productivity, quality

6.) Drive continuous improvement of processes through systematic implementation of Kaizen

7.) Identify NCs in Quality Management System and initiate corrective actions

8.) Ensure compliance to National and International standards (BIS CRS, ENEC, CB, CE, RoHS)

9.) Ensure product labelling match product specifications and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements

10.) To monitor and direct day to day process development to ensure product quality, timely product shipments, continuing cost effectiveness and profitability

11.) Improve operational quality results by studying, evaluating, and recommending process re-design; implementing changes; contributing information and opinion to unit design and modification of teams.

12.) Maintain and improve product quality by timely investigation of customer complaints and completing product & quality system audits

Documentation:

1.) Maintain and update complete documentation as per requirements of ISO 9001 QMS

2.)Maintain and update testing and process control documentation, PPI related to Quality

3.) Data Back up as recommended

Management and Administration:

1.) Support the Quality Manager in all of his or her tasks

2.) Assign projects, rank them based on quality, compliance, and certification requirements, and monitor their progress toward completion.

3.) Oversee the daily operations of the quality assurance and testing departments.

4.) Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by abiding by legal requirements and upholding standards and procedures.

5.) Encourage collaboration between and within departments.

Required Skills:-

1) Should have worked in Quality function in a similar capacity

2) Should have strong experience in problem solving tools like 3) W - 1H, Fish bone analysis etc.

4) Should have knowledge in areas like Six Sigma, Lean and 5S

5) Should possess adequate Business Acumen

6) Should be a self-starter & a quick learner

7) Should be an excellent team worker

8) Should possess excellent communication skills

Experience:

Minimum :

1) Dip E&E with 5years QAExperience

2) BE / B Tech with 3 years QA Experience

Preferred :

1) Dip E with 7 years QA Experience

2) BE / B Tech with 5 years QA Experience

3) ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and 5S Implementation experience

4) Supplier Quality or Training and Development Experience in QA

Qualification:- Dip E&E / BE /B Tech (Mechanical / Electrical)
