Position: Senior Development Engineer- Mechanical

2. Activities/Duties/Responsibilities: (Please include Reports/Returns/documents maintained)

- In charge of designing and developing 3D drawings (Catia V5), as well as mechanical design of parts and structures.

- Responsible for the preparation and verification of the bill of materials (BOM) and subassembly drawings.

- Design and validate the Instruction Manual contents.

- Responsible for preparing & estimating the cost and engineering hour for developmental projects.

- Responsible for the moulding of components and mechanisms for kinematics, dynamics, and force analysis.

- Investigate new product designs and existing product modifications to meet the needs of the customer.

- Responsible for material selection, and calculations.

- In charge of developing the Assembly, components, and BOM to meet standards, regulations, and norms.

- Visit customer sites for product installation analysis, testing, and troubleshooting as and when required.

- Responsible for the execution of product development and maintenance activities.

Qualifications.

- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute with good academic record. An other additional qualification is an added advantage.

Experience:

- Min 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in CATIA V5, AutoCAD / Draft site & PDM, familiar with using Microsoft office tools. Experience in machine installation, tooling is desirable. knowledge of GD&T and engineering formulas is essential. Experience in FEA activity & Exposure to ISO & CE safety norms is an added advantage.
