Context of the Position: - Ensure accurate & timely release of execution drawing and documents for substation and Transmission lines. Technical Evaluate performance of power plant and value Engineering

Key Job Responsibilities: -

- Analyze project specifications and design requirements to effectively plan and execute electrical design activities.

- Perform detailed engineering and design of electrical substations and transmission lines ranging from 11 kV to 400 kV voltage levels.

- Conduct comprehensive electrical system studies, including:

- Insulation coordination

- Protection and automation systems

- Communication systems

- Grid interconnection studies

- Integration of wind and solar power plants

- Design and engineer various types of solar power generating plants, including preparation of design calculations and technical documentation.

- Perform electrical component selection and sizing calculations for transmission lines, substations, and solar parks.

- Support generator-grid interconnection studies and related compliance requirements.

- Drive value engineering initiatives through market research, innovation, and continuous improvement practices.

- Prepare and review detailed electrical drawings and technical documentation.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards and coordinate design approvals with utilities and clients.

Technical / Functional / Domain Skills require -

- 5 + plus years in Substation and power plant design

- Master's degree /bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from reputed institutes/ Substation design experience in reputed power plant development organization like GE, Siemens, ABB, Schneider, KEC, Torrent power, TATA power, L& T, Utilities, PUC etc.

- Advance level of skills in design of substation including design calculation

- Good Knowledge on handling design software like etap, My power, Excel templates, AutoCAD

- Good knowledge of Power system protection, automation and communication system

- Knowledge on design of Electrica transmission lines

- Additional knowledge of Solar, wind & hybrid parks shall be given advantages good skills in drafting documents, design concept presentations, team and management communications.

- Knowledge on Various Indian and international design and construction practices and standards

- Timing and efficiency of execution within the requisite timelines
