Senior Supervisor/Senior Engineer - Mining/Metals (10-12 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :
- The person should have experience in extrusion process field experiences are mandatory.
- The person should have 10-12 years of experience holder in the extrusion process.
- Record the quality issues and act as necessary / liaise with departments.
- Ensure inspection of returned extrusion or internally rejected material that may be recovered on site or customer's premises.
- Fulfill calibration of instruments and equipment's required.
- Ensure department documentation is kept properly.
- Ensure information, equipment, instrument and references available at inspection areas to carry out inspection efficiently.
- Should have knowledge on testing in UTM and hardness testing machine and ASCONA machines are must.
- Collect and inspect the trial samples and prepare the layout inspection report and put the samples in ageing if the sample is found.
- Knowledge of calibration and monitoring the calibrations of all instruments and equipment and maintain the calibrations status as active always.
- Following with third party for calibration of instrument and equipment well within due dates.
- Support the inspection team for material segregation and rework.
- Ensure checking of production report and hold or suspect batches to be disposed
- Monitor the press QC if manpower Shortages regularly.
Education : Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
