Senior System Engineer - Electro Locomotive/Train Control Management System (4-12 yrs)
- Senior Systems Engineer, Who has good knowledge of an electro locomotive/TCMS (Train Control Management System (TCMS) for an modern computer-based control system that manages various subsystems of a train, such as the propulsion system, brakes, doors, lighting, and communication systems).
Skillset Required :
- Knowledge on PLC programming software/IEC61131-3 development or Model based tools like MATLAB
- Strong knowledge on C/C++ Development/programming for embedded systems in the field of communication and control
- Ability to Understand Digital/Analog Electronics circuits and implement them in software development.
- Experience in Railway Propulsion System
- Knowledge of real time communication protocols for field bus, MODBUS systems such as RS485, CAN, Ethernet or similar
- Experience in rolling stock electronics for TCMS (Train Control and Management Systems) system integration (for example, knowledge of MVB) or industrial automation (good to have)
- Experience in HW solution architecture will be a plus
- Independent, proactive way of working
- Hands on experience on Communication HW such as PLC, HMI, etc. is a must.
Experience :
- Minimum 5 years in Rolling Stock Electronics or Control Electronics
Role and Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of 4 - 6 Engineers for product and solution development
- Provide quick response to key customer requests on technical and application support, propose the best technical solution, based on our portfolio in order to fully meet customer goals
- Co-ordinate with overseas technology providers for hardware and software development
- Visit to loco factories as and when required
Qualifications and Education :
- B. Tech - Electronics and Communication
- Qualified in HW designs (schematics and PCB layout) will be a plus.
- Qualified in industrial automation will be a strong plus.
- Good in interpersonal skill, communication skill & team player
- Fluent in English
- Independent, proactive way of working.
