- Receive material requisition from stores/production/QC.
- Tracking and monitoring of material requested versus order placed.
- Place purchase orders on Approved vendors.
- Negotiation and follow-up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Arranging of material samples for testing
- Evaluating vendors
- Sourcing and appointing new vendors for relevant materials and supplies.
- Manage existing vendor relationships.
- Make frequent market visits to find the best vendor and best price.
- Preparing reports
