Job Description - Service Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

- A reputed international machinery manufacturer having applications in chemical, pharmaceutical, food Life Science industry is looking out for a Service Engineer.

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Engineer to join our team and support our growing clientele in the pharmaceutical sector. As a Service Engineer for Roller Compactor Systems, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for our range of roller compactor equipment.

- You will work closely with clients to ensure optimal performance of their systems, while also collaborating with internal teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct on-site installations, commissioning, and maintenance of roller compactor systems.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.

- Provide training and guidance to clients on the operation, maintenance, and safety protocols of roller compactor equipment.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions and enhancements to improve system performance.

- Write visit reports with pointing out needed spare parts

- Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of roller compactor systems to identify opportunities for optimization and upgrades.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards at all times.

- Ability to perform small software changes in Siemens TIA Portal.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Proven experience as a Service Engineer, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

- Strong technical proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness of minimum 80% to travel (also international) to client sites as required.

- Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal for performing small software changes.

- Fluent in English and other languages like Telugu, Hindi will be an advantage
