Note: We are looking for Field Service & Maintenance engineer who has experience in Bus repair & maintenance. Those who have worked only in truck maintenance will not work for this role.

Position- Australia Bus Mechanic/Sr. Mechanic (Multiple vacancies)

Base Location- Australia (Multiple location)

Exp required- At least 2 years- experience in Mechanical repairs and maintenance of heavy or large vehicles service route buses (Eg-Volvo, Mercedes, Scania)

Qualification - Diploma/Engineering graduate will be preferred

Age limit - 33 years

CTC - starting range AUD $40000 per annum (CTC offering will depend on skill set, experience & exposure)

Candidate should be stable in his career

Criteria includes:

- Preferably Volvo/Mercedes/Scania Bus experience (Recent or latest Buses service & maintenance experience is mandatory. Our Volvo bus fleet go back to 2011, Euro 5 and Euro 6 models. New ZEB electric busses will be next generation, which will require upskill training, that we will put them through with our other HD mechanics.

- Good communication skillset in English language.

Ability to learn new things. As we will provide a lot of Volvo training on current new models, and electric busses that come through over next few years.

- Any international experience will be added advantage

Mandatory-

- After sales service, repair, maintenance experience in conducting Heavy vehicle and finishing work to a high standard. Trained to European standards i.e., Volvo, Mercedes, Scania.

- Must have valid passport with minimum 1-3 year validity

- No Medical history or criminal record in past

- Open to relocate in Australia. Posting can be done in multiple cities. Application will Australian Visa 482 category. 2-4 years with a pathway to permanent residency after 2 years. Can bring spouse and dependent children or single status.

Responsibilities : 

- Responsible for field service, maintenance, repair of service route buses

- Operate within a team environment to provide a range of repairs and maintenance services to fleet of buses. This includes planning work, requesting parts and materials,

- Undertaking repairs and maintenance, maintaining records of repairs and servicing, and ensuring the adequacy of repairs and services.

- Actively promotes and complies with the Business Management System (BMS), within their level of accountability.

- Achieve competent standards in trade work to meet deadlines.

- Complete work orders and reporting records for repair and maintenance work on each vehicle.

- Assess all repairs and services conducted to ensure standards are achieved.

- Ensure working area is operated in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
