Designation : Design Engineer -Sheet Metal Designer - AutoCAD / Solidworks
Educational Qualification : Vast Experience is a must, A Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineer
Experience : Minimum 3-5 year experience in similar Mechanical Sheet metal Design / Manufacturing Work.
Designing Software experience: Solidworks & Autocad
Location : Thane West
Responsibilities of Sr Sheet Metal Designer - AutoCAD / Solidworks
- Creating models, blueprints or visual renders of current mechanical designs.
- Conducting load analysis and running simulations for existing and new assemblies.
- Maintain/Update existing CAD Library
- Design new engineering products and processes
- Research new product ideas and methods
- Improve existing products and processes
- Ensure compliance with the industry's safety standards
- Find creative design solutions to problems
- Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers
Requirements and skills :
- Candidate Should be an expert in Autocad & Sheet Metal Design & should be ale to lead a team of mechanical Draughtsman
- Previous experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
- Proven experience using CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus
- Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design
- Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers
- Great computational and spatial ability
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Attention to detail
